In South Sudan, the conflict has displaced almost 4 million people – people like Michael.

Michael and his family were forced to flee their village after it was raided by government forces – and when they finally felt safe enough to go back a couple of months later, everything was gone.

With our local partner UNIDO, we’ve been able to give emergency assistance to communities like Michael’s, and give them means to establish livelihoods.

Now Michael’s young son can fish, and together father and son can feed their family.
